| The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919
as a patriotic, mutual-help, and community service organization which now numbers 2.4
million – men and women – in more than 14,000 American Legion Posts worldwide.
These Posts are organized into 55 Departments – one each for the 50 states, the
District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, France, Mexico, and the Philippines. |

| The Mint Hill American Legion Post 555 was chartered
in February 2020 and is proud to be part of the nation's largest veterans service
organization. Post 555 welcomes VETERANS of all our nations Armed Forces and all military
personnel currently serving our country. |

God, Country and Community as we are committed to four pillars that The American Legion
was founded upon: Veterans' Affairs and Rehabilitation; National Security; Americanism;
and, Children and Youth. |
